大家老师在说scene这个单词的时候，延伸到了spot这个单词。
当时他说on the scene = at the spot = 在现场的意思，但我有以下的疑问。
在某些文章仿佛也有出现on the spot，什么才是对的呢，还是两个都对只不过意思不同。
on the scene 或 on the spot，是“在现场；当场”，含有比喻义，有时指某个情景，不肯定指具体的“地址”。这归功于介词 on 的一个含义“正在从事某种活动”。比如：
The thief was caught on the spot.小偷当场被捉。
这里，地址的定义不是非常明确，而是指“他正在偷盗时被捉。”
而at the spot 偶尔也说，但非常不普通。重点是，它纯粹表示地址定义。由于 at 跟某些地址、方位名词连用，表示“在...附近” 之意。比如：at the TOP of, at the foot of，at the corner 等，都是指具体的地址地方。比如：
The rock slid along the slope until it sTOPped at the spot it now occupied.
岩石沿着斜坡滑动，直到它停在它目前所在的地方。
